University Bench Test
The “forever young” candidates who would like to get back to university as a student will have to prepare for a series of tests which include clinical practical skills, interviewing finesse and proficiency in english. Canada offers 8 dental universities across and submissions for application include a acceptable score at the AFK, a strong GPA along with your previous dental schools documentation. Most dental schools require the candidate to pass a clinical bench test along with other evaluation procedures. The bench test consists of about 2-4 clinical procedures to be performed on a typhodont mounted on a mannequin. The scope of getting invited for the admission process largely depends on the ability of the candidate to score well at the bench exam.
